Being the rookie plane spotter that I am, I have been using Google Lab's new Transit Maps to plot my way to Boeing Field and back. The results it gives me are very interesting.

I am not so sure that the Department of Homeland Security would approve of the results, nor would the Washington State Patrol.

This was a search for a bus route from downtown Seattle to a point on Airport Way South:

"Honest, Google Maps told me that I could walk right across the runways."

Another recent search from downtown Seattle to the Museum of Flight gave me similar, yet more law-breaking directions:

This time I am instructed to not only jay walk across 8 lanes of Interstate 5, I am also expected to walk across the runway of Boeing Field.

Granted, no one out there is really stupid enough to follow these directions, it sure is amusing to be served them.
