This small photo essay has been a long-time dream of mine, but I've never really had the time to actually persue it until now.

I took a week off between leaving my job at Expeditors and my new position at Sugar Publishing to take a lot of photographs I normally didn't have time for. I have always been fascinated by the old neon signs from the days of biig cars and road trips. This particular piece of Americana is fading away quickly and quietly. So I took a few days and drove the various old state highways that still had a few and photographed them before they are gone for good.
